This photo from 1971 is looking to the north.  There is little change since 1954 evident on the airport. The photos do show an increase in development on NY Route 109 and NY Route 110. Some sites on the west side of NY110 have been constructed. There is also more development between NY Route 109 and the LIRR tracks.
