DeparturesRunway 01: Use Vy (best rate of climb) and fly runway heading to 1,000 ft. MSL. Reduce power setting for climb and fly to the Long Island Expressway before proceeding on course. Safety and ATC Instructions override Noise Abatement Procedures NOISE ABATEMENT PROGRAMThe program was established in 1984 to reduce sound levels in the vicinity of the airport. The program is a voluntary effort on the part of aircraft operators. Noise Abatement measures in no way take precedence over Air Traffic Control Instructions. Please exercise safety at all times. To participate in the program operators are advised when practical, possible and feasible to use the following measures:
PRIOR PERMISSION REQUIREDAircraft with 30 seats or more and/or over 60,000 lbs. must obtain prior permission to operate at Republic Airport. Operators may contact the Airport Operations Department at 631-752-7707 x108 to request a Prior Permission Form or visit the Airport website www.republicairport.net to obtain a form.
